Monie Ordonia's Bio:
Monie is a native of Seattle, WA.  She grew up in Seattle and attended Garfield High School.  Being an artist all 
of her life, she excelled in the field of arts, receiving the academic accolades of "Excellence in Art" her senior 
year at Garfield in 1980.
 
Monie received her formal training at Seattle Central Community College, gaining her Associate of Arts Degree in
Commercial/Advertising Art in 1984.  Almost 20 years later she embraced the essence of her talent, when she 
met Rassouli.  Under his mentorship and friendship, she rediscovered the joy of her creativity...allowing her Spirit 
to lead the way as she lays paint onto her canvas.  This process is known as Fusionart.
 
As one of a pair of ladies that create Paintings and Jewelry called "Inspired Presence", Monie dedicated herself 
to the vision of living an inspired life.  Her desire to bring a new movement of Art that inspires, keeps her 
motivated to keep Creativity and being an inspiration in the forefront.  Under Rassouli's mentorship, Monie 
assisted in organizing the Fusionart Movement in Los Angeles, CA.   Presently she teaches Fusionart at University 
for Transformational Studies and Leadership at Agape (UTSLA), expanding the concept to "Surrendering to 
Your Creative Power" class.
 
Monie has been exhibiting in the Greater Los Angeles Area, Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, 
the Center of the Heart in Santa Barbara, CA, as well as Kirkland, WA. Currently she has four permanent pieces 
being shown in the Penthouse suite at the Tulalip Resort Casino, in Tulalip, WA.  As one of many fusionartists, 
Monie has exhibited at Gallery C in Hermosa Beach, CA, and has shown her art at the Le Florence Gallery in 
Leimert Park (Los Angeles).  Her works have been seen at both the Global Theatre  & the Key Club in West 
Hollywood, CA.  She has also participated at the Kenneth Road Village Art Fair in Glendale, CA; the Ghetto Gloss 
Gallery Art Fair in Silverlake, CA; and has been a part of the NoHo Art Scene both in 2006 and in 2008.  She 
showed at Agape's 2006 Revelation Conference, 2006 women's retreat, 2006 & 2008 Music Symposium and she 
has also shown a solo Exhibit at Fusionart. She has showed her work at many locations in the Mind, Body & Spirit 
Expo such as San Diego and Santa Barbara.  She participated in a live performance of painting during Agape's 
19th Anniversary celebration Art Festival, and at Temple Bar in Santa Monica, CA.   Monie just continues to add 
to her extensive resume.
 
Monie has many collectors living in California such as Los Angeles, Glendale, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Norco, 
Palm Springs, Venice, Topanga Canyon, and Ventura.  She also has some collectors located in Tulalip, WA; 
Atlanta, GA, and in Hawaii.  Not only do they collect her paintings, but also find great value in her one of a kind 
Jewelry... which has gone as far as Malta.
 
As a multi-talented person, Monie is also a very seasoned Deejay of 15 years, playing in the Club scene for 
over 4 years, promoting events, and playing at business, social and private establishments.  She continues to 
evolve in her vast collection of Music, keeping with the classic Dance music and expanding in the realms of 
World Music.
 
Monie is also a licensed Spiritual Counselor and Facilitator at Agape International Spiritual Center.
